Sandra Hinson has been a strategy consultant, policy analyst and trainer for social movements since 1986, getting her start with labor and community organizing in Memphis and New York. From 1994 through 2020, she worked for the Grassroots Policy Project (now the Grassroots Power Project), serving in many roles, including a turn as Managing Director. Sandra also served as Managing Director for the Commonwealth Foundation for Inclusive Democracy from 2012 through 2026. Currently, Sandra is a member of the Convergence Magazine Editorial Board.
