Jordan DeLoach

Jordan N. DeLoach is the National Director of the Radical Communicators Network. As a storyteller, artist, and organizer, Jordan fights to build a bigger and stronger “we” contesting for narrative power and liberation.

From 2019 to early 2026, Jordan served as the Director of Communications at the State Voices Affiliated Network. During this time, they grew State Voices’ nationwide bench of communications leaders, engaged in cross-state, shared-narrative campaigns, trained hundreds of storytellers, and executed media strategies that reached audiences where they were and moved them to act.

Previously, Jordan was the communications lead for the DecrimNow DC campaign, helping usher in a historic bill hearing and securing resources for the fight to decriminalize sex work and invest in people in underground economies to survive. As the communications co-chair of the DC chapter of BYP100, they led the production of the art zine and blog, MelaNation Zine, that developed and published local Black artists and writers who explored topics like policing, the judicial system, sex and gender, and immigration. Washington City Paper was home to Jordan’s summer 2019 column, “Mumble Sauce,” where they wrote portraits of Black folks who help breathe life into the city.

By taking an organizer’s approach to storytelling, Jordan works with other communicators to seed liberatory narratives and fundamentally change who gets to shape culture and our understanding of the world.
