Josh Elstro is the Senior Multimedia Producer at Convergence Magazine.
Prior to his role at Convergence, he worked for a local NPR affiliate where he acted as technical director, segment producer, and editor for daily news programs and podcasts. Since 2019 he has also been production editor for the podcast Another Way by Equal Citizens, which pursues the fight to dismantle the Citizens United decision and get dark money and Super PACs out of politics.
Before his political and news media experience he spent nearly a decade in community building work–co-launching and directing Music Resource Center, a free after-school music and media production program for teens, which also served area juvenile detention facilities, outpatient homes, and more.
He currently serves on the Electoral Committee of his local Working Families Party chapter and is a DSA member.
Akin Olla is the Managing Editor at Convergence Magazine. He is a contributing writer at The Guardian; and the host of This Is The Revolution, a podcast that uses pop culture to explain the mechanics of various social movement strategies and tactics.
