Waleed Shahid is a movement and Democratic strategist who has worked on a range of causes, and co-founded the recent Uncommitted campaign. For six years, Shahid was the spokesperson for Justice Democrats, which is known for helping launch the Green New Deal campaign and recruiting and electing working-class progressives like US Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, and Summer Lee.
