Nicole Kligerman

Nicole is a fourth generation Philadelphian who brings 15 years of union and community organizing experience in Southeastern Pennsylvania, working alongside low wage immigrants and workers to win improvements in their lives and build long-term social movements. Currently, Nicole is the Pennsylvania Director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, where she organizes nannies, housecleaners, and caregivers. Under her leadership, NDWA won the Philadelphia Domestic Workers Bill of Rights to provide workers rights for domestic workers for the first time in Philly history and the POWER (Protect Our Workers – Enforce Rights) Act to increase labor protections for 750,000 working Philadelphians. Nicole is a proud member of Jewish Voice for Peace and her union, CWA Local 1180.
