Desmond Serrette was the Interim Political Director at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). He has worked in the labor movement fighting on behalf of working people for most of his career. Prior to working at SEIU, Desmond was the Deputy Political Director at UNITE HERE Local 25. He grew up in Oxon Hill in Prince George’s County, MD, and now lives in Adams Morgan, Washington, DC.
