Deepak Bhargava is distinguished lecturer at CUNY’s School of Labor and Urban Studies, co-editor of Immigration Matters: Movements, Visions, and Strategies for a Progressive Future (The New Press, 2021), and a fellow at the Roosevelt Institute. In Fall 2023, he was named the next president of The JPB Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering those living in poverty, sustaining our environment and enabling pioneering medical research.
