Clément Petitjean is a sociologist and an associate professor of American Studies at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris. He is the author of Occupation: Organizer. A Critical History of Community Organizing in America (Haymarket Books, 2023) as well as several articles in academic journals and popular outlets like Jacobin, In These Times, Mediapart, and Le Monde diplomatique.
