Labor 2024: Promise and Peril

Early this year, Convergence put out a call for reflections on the opportunities and challenges facing the labor movement. How can the movement use the momentum of 2023 to build power? How should it set its strategic compass? What kinds of organizing can help navigate our shifting economy and rough political terrain? The respondents have brought deep history and experience to bear. They reach different, sometimes contradictory conclusions. But all center labor’s role in defending and building democracy.
