Lex Rountree
Lex Rountree is a digital strategist and cultural organizer based in Brooklyn. Her decade of organizing has focused within electoral campaigns and tenant/worker power, starting with Bernie’s 2016 campaign and Brand New Congress in high school. She is currently the membership coordinator for the New York State Tenant Bloc, and had previously supported their 2025 Freeze the Rent campaign. Outside of work, she is in the leadership of Hot Girls Organize (formerly Hot Girls for Zohran), focusing on tenant & immigrant solidarity efforts. Her organizing seeks to tackle questions of how we can make our movements accessible, enticing, and powerful for those who participate, and how we build the infrastructure and institutions necessary to sustain it.
