Hany Khalil has served as Executive Director of Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation AFL-CIO since 2016. In that role he has led the modernization of the labor council’s political program, local policy campaigns to raise workplace standards and grow the labor movement, the expansion of the council’s communications and mobilization capacity, and the growth of the council’s affiliated membership by one-third. He is a member of the Houston Federation of Teachers.
